Rental Requirements: Monthly income shall be at least 3 times the rental amount & must pass credit check/background check. The rental application is located at the link above. Please fill out the application and return it along with a copy of your driver’s license & your last two pay stubs to advantage@troycable.net
Once we receive your completed application, you will receive an email from www.tenantbackgroundsearch.com for you to complete a background check & credit check. There is a $50 application fee per applicant over the age of 18. This can be paid by check, money order or Venmo to username AdvantageRealtyTroyAL. Each person must submit a separate application. Once you complete the background search, it will most likely send you another email wanting you to confirm your identity with several questions. Once that is completed, they will then email us a copy of the report.
After we receive the background search & credit report, your completed application will be reviewed, and we will let you know if you have been approved or denied. This is typically processed within one business day.
After your application is approved, the lease agreement will be sent to you to sign via email with Docusign. Each property has a security deposit that is the same amount as the monthly rent. The security deposit is due when your lease is signed to hold the property. Please note our office only accepts checks & money orders as payment. We DO NOT accept credit card payments or cash. We cannot hold the property until the lease is signed and your security deposit is paid. The security deposit is held by our office until you vacate the property at the end of your rental agreement. This deposit will be returned if the property is left in good clean condition as according to the lease agreement.
Your first month's rent will be due when your lease begins, before you can pick up the keys. Please note our office only accepts checks & money orders as payment. We DO NOT accept credit card payments or cash.
